Arbor Road Intern Program

A year-long role serving and participating in our training program focused on developing leadership skills. This involves weekly training Participants gain opportunities for experience, personalized leadership development as well as learning the day-to-day inner workings of a local church.

1 Year Commitment  |  $2,500 Equipping Package

  • After 11 months of serving interns are welcome to continue leading in volunteer and vocational capacities at Arbor Road.


Intern: Worship & Arts: Video Production– works with Jeff Zabel & Jon Zabel

  • Freshman/Sophomore/Junior | Film, Communications, Christian Ministries Majors
  • Learn production and post production for weekly videos and creative storytelling for in service and online content
  • Serve on a creative and collaborative team

Intern: Worship & Arts: Digital Marketing– with Jeff Zabel & Emily Deems

  • Junior/Senior | Business, Marketing or Communications Major
  • Seeking to learn more about digital marketing and search engine optimization
  • Connecting our Community with the Church Initiatives and areas of Support long before they step foot on our campus

Intern: Young Adults– with Alan Kim

  • Junior/Senior & Graduate Student | various majors including Christian Ministries
  • High-energy Young Adult who can collaborate with a team of leaders on program 
  • Respected and influential among peers 

Intern: Kids: Early Childhood– with Michelle Collins & Katie Bennett 

  • Various ages | various majors including Childhood Development & Christian Ministries 
  • Support in the coordination of current Volunteers and better understanding the development of kids 6 weeks – 5 years old. 
  • Maintain a calm & helpful presence in our EC hallways 
  • Gaining classroom management experience

Intern: Kids: Elementary– with Michelle Collins & Sam Zabel

  • Various ages | Various majors including Elementary Education & Christian Ministries
  • Worship Leading Experience Welcomed
  • Supporting 2nd Hour Small Group Leaders 
  • Partnering in the creation of a dynamic large group & small group gathering that  how to create a great learning environment for 6-10 year olds

Intern: Communities– with Rich Baker

  • Junior/Senior & Graduate Student | various majors including Christian Ministries
  • Capable of working with a variety of men and women of various ages
  • Works well with a team; crafting clear ministry initiatives through  discussion.  

Guest Services– with Jacob Unger

  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student
  • Various Majors, including Communications, Christian Ministries, Hotel Services
  • Self-starter, who is able to perceive the needs of others and begin to execute
