Jeff Zabel serves on staff as the Pastor of Worship and Service Production. He grew up at Arbor Road, interned, and served as a youth director at ARC after graduating from Biola University (Film Major) in 1997.
Jeff transitioned into leading worship at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena (where he met his wife) and then at 3Crosses Church in Castro Valley, CA. In 2008, he (along with Pastor Brent) transitioned back “home” into his current role at ARC.
Jeff is passionate about embracing and proclaiming the truths of God’s Word in musical, creative, and inspiring ways. In addition to his post at ARC, Jeff founded and runs Sing Scripture, a ministry that produces word-for-word Scripture songs to help people memorize God’s Word in a fun and lasting way. He also serves part-time as the music and choir teacher for Lakewood Christian Schools.
He and his wife, Sam, have three school-age daughters, Carlee, Zoe, and Phoebe.
