My wife, Marianne, and I have been married for 13 years and have four children that we homeschool, from two years old up to eight. I have had the privilege of serving in High School Ministries, the worship team, and most recently contribute to supporting production technology for our worship services. Marianne has taught at LCS, served in Middle School Ministries, and currently sings regularly in our worship services. We also host a weekly small group in our home that has many kids.
I grew up in faith here at ARC, but it was through college and early into marriage that I recognized true heart transformation and reliance on Christ. Romans 7 and 8 were a turning point for me, working through what it means to be caught between striving for achievement and grace, and landing on the freedom that comes from resting in Christ’s righteousness rather than my own.
Professionally, I lead a team of engineers at a software company and teach a course in business technology at Biola University.
I’m grateful for this church and what God is doing in my family through it. It is truly a joy to serve my church family on the elder board at ARC.
