Rich Baker has been on staff with Arbor Road Church since 2016 as the Pastor of Communities and Men’s Ministry. Rich loves to see people get connected to the Lord and to one another. He received his Masters of Biblical Studies from Liberty University and enjoys using the gifts the Lord has given him to teach and shepherd at church.
Before coming to Arbor Road Church, Rich served as the high school camp director for Hume Lake Christian camps for 14 years. During that time, he learned how to blow snow, sharpen ice skates, build sets, make movies, record songs (using auto-tune, of course), lead teams, teach, encourage, run recreation, drink a ton of milkshakes, watch God show up and move in significant ways, and, of course, he was blessed to come alongside hundreds of churches during the summer and winter to bring the Gospel to students and watch in amazement as they grew closer to Him.
Rich loves spending time with his family and friends while riding his old, rundown beach cruiser. If you see him riding around with his family (Allyson, August, and Eisley), feel free to give him a wave; but don’t be mad if he doesn’t wave back–his bike pulls to the left, if he waves he might crash.
