Serve at ARC
Jump in and serve!
If ARC is your home church, we are firm believers in the call to be participants in what God is doing at Church through serving!
Why Serve?
- We serve to follow the example of Jesus and bless others as the body of Christ at Arbor Road Church. (Mark 10:45)
- We each make up the body of Christ. When we all use our unique gifts, we get to show others who Jesus is. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
- You will get to know other believers as you
serve. - You will have the chance to show people the heart of God and watch them experience how He changes lives!
- Serving with others is fun!
Questions to Consider as you pray about wher to serve
- What are you most passionate about? What brings you abundant joy?
- What are three ways God has uniquely
made you? Describe yourself in 3
words. - How has God used church community
to shape your relationship with Him?

Stories
"In my time serving as a youth volunteer, I have witnessed students grow in their heart for building community through learning more about God. It is something that I love being involved in as it stokes my faith through enriching my own walk with the Lord and it has even been a source of fellowship and friendship as I am leading alongside incredible believers and peers."

"We all have God given gifts which are to be used in the Church. Service in the Church is a privilege and a blessing. By serving, I’m giving back a little of what God has given me. In return, God pours out His blessings in a number of ways. Besides the satisfaction that comes from giving, there's the unexpected blessing of relationships you build while serving, but also how God provides for needs while you take time to serve, and the blessings from those who may benefit from your service."

"Volunteering on the EMT support team has been a rewarding way to give of our time and talents. We are able to use our health care training and experience to support others during church services and also at other church sponsored events such as the Fall Festival."
