Small Groups

What are Small Groups?

In addition to our mid-week ministries, we know that doing life with the church body is important to feel seen and known. Take a look at our weekly groups and jump into community at Arbor Road!

Short Term Groups

Short-term groups are 4-6 week small groups that meet at homes or at church. These are a great way to try out a small group and meet new people at our church.

Short-Term Groups will run quarterly.
The next groups start April 7th

Life Groups

Life groups are ongoing groups that meet year round. They gather for meals, study and time in community with one another. These groups are for those who are wanting to really step into a long-term commitment and go through life as followers of Jesus with a group of people.

Life Groups run year-long and are available to join or start at any point in the year.

Rooted

Rooted is focused on creating a culture of disciple-making based on the seven rhythms of discipleship and experiential learning. Rooted seeks to create an intentional plan for spiritual growth amongst a church body. This study focuses on creating consistent rhythms, transformational experiences, and includes multiple study options throughout the session. Rooted is for those who are seeking to understand the fundamental elements of faith and desire to grow in their knowledge and relationship with God.

Rooted sessions will run twice a year.

Connect Groups

Connect groups are interest based groups that meet for 4-6 weeks during the summer. These groups are focussed around expanding community and connection within our church. These groups are for those who are looking to get connected as well as those who are already connected and wanting to meet new people from our church.

Connected groups run July-August each year.

Become a group leader

Step 1: Learn

Learn about Small Groups and Life Groups and attend a training from our pastoral staff on how to lead and disciple a group.

Step 2: Invite

Ask others to join your group. A personal invite goes so far!

This step is so impactful to others who are also searching for community.

Step 3: Gather

Once you have been trained and invited others to be a part of your group, start gathering in homes or at church one semester at a time!

There will be quarterly leader training sessions and check-ins offered to further support you and your group.
